These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the VCDiscordBot Discord bot (the "Bot"). By adding the Bot to a Discord server or interacting with it, you agree to these Terms.
The Bot creates a temporary voice channel for a member when they join a designated "join to create" voice channel, and deletes that channel once everyone leaves it. It also provides slash commands for the channel owner to lock, unlock, rename, set a user limit, kick, permit/reject members, transfer ownership, or claim an abandoned temporary channel.
The Bot's code was built with the help of an AI coding assistant, but the Bot itself runs as plain rule-based automation — it does not call an AI model at runtime. See the Privacy Policy for details on data handling.
You agree not to use the Bot to:
Server administrators who configure the Bot (e.g. via
/tempvc-setup) are responsible for the permissions they
grant it and for how the Bot's features are used within their server.
The Bot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. It may be unavailable, updated, or discontinued at any time without notice, and temporary voice channels or server configuration may be lost as a result (see the Privacy Policy for details on data retention).
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Bot's operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Bot.
Any server administrator can remove the Bot from their server at any time via Discord's server settings. Doing so deletes the Bot's stored configuration for that server — see the Privacy Policy.
These Terms may be updated from time to time; changes will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Bot after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
